Raoul Edward Asokendaran
Managing Director
Raoul has over 15 years of experience in commercial and professional services roles performing internal audits, compliance audits, contract audits, financial audits, SOX testing and investigations with a focus on the mining industry.
Prior to his current role, Raoul gained his audit experience with several Big 4 firms before joining the world’s largest gold miner in the role of Internal Audit Manager for the Australia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa region (which include a number of the largest gold or copper mines in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Zambia) where he was responsible for managing and performing internal audits for 9 operating mine sites, a shared service centre and regional corporate office.
Raoul’s internal audit experience is extensive having led and performed a wide range of audits including Safety, Environment, Explosives, Mine Closure, Land Management, Fuel Management, Metal Sales, Financial, Human Resources and Supply Chain to name a few.
